Slaughter and May is advising Newlight Partners LP on the sale of its controlling interest in Hyperoptic Limited to funds managed by KKR

Newlight Partners LP is a private investment firm that has invested approximately $6 billion in over 100 investments since 2005, first as the Strategic Investments Group at Soros Fund Management LLC (Soros), and now as Newlight after the team's spin out from Soros in 2018.

Hyperoptic is a leader in “full” fibre optic technology delivering fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP), and the UK’s largest residential gigabit broadband provider.
