Slaughter and May advised GE Aviation on an agreement to sell its aerostructures business at Hamble, UK to Aernnova. The Hamble facility is a leading supplier of major civil and military aircraft structures in hi-tech composites, metallic, acrylics and hybrid structures.
The disposal also includes specific assets at GE Aviation’s facility in Suzhou, China, and the Suzhou facility will continue to manufacture components for the Airbus A320 and A350 XWB programs for the sold business.
