Slaughter and May advised Global Risk Partners on the acquisition of The Purple Partnership Limited and BBPS Limited from Marsh

Slaughter and May advised Global Risk Partners (GRP), the leading independent insurance intermediary in the UK, on the acquisition of the entire issued share capital of The Purple Partnership Limited and BBPS Limited, operators of the Bluefin and Purple Partnership broker networks, from Marsh.

On completion, GRP will also acquire the Marsh ProBroker, Marsh Labyrinth, Marsh Connections and Broker2Broker broker networks, and elements of Marsh’s London Markets Business. As part of the agreement, GRP will look to rebrand the Marsh broker networks.

The transaction, which is subject to regulatory approval, is expected to complete in the second quarter of 2021.
