Slaughter and May is advising CSM Ingredients, an Investindustrial portfolio company, on its acquisition of Hi-Food

Slaughter and May is advising CSM Ingredients on its acquisition of Hi-Food S.p.A (“Hi-Food”). CSM Ingredients is a manufacturer and supplier of food ingredients in Europe and Asia and was acquired in April 2021 by an independent subsidiary of Investindustrial VII L.P. Hi-Food specialises in the development and production of innovative solutions in the world of functional ingredients for the plant-based and clean label food industry.

As part of the transaction, the CSM Group will also welcome Giampaolo Cagnin and the management team of Hi-Food, who will work in partnership with CSM Ingredients going forward.
