Slaughter and May is advising Centrica plc on its acquisition of ENSEK

Slaughter and May is advising Centrica plc (“Centrica”) on its acquisition of the entire issued share capital of ENSEK Holdings Limited (“ENSEK”), a leading provider of digital transformation services in the energy sector. The acquisition builds on the strategic partnership agreed between Centrica and ENSEK in August 2021, when Centrica announced it intended to move British Gas’ domestic customers onto ENSEK’s customer account management platform, Ignition.

The acquisition is expected to complete in the third quarter of this year.

Slaughter and May is supporting Centrica’s in-house team led by Andrew Zelouf (Director, M&A) and Tony Byrne (Corporate Counsel, M&A).
