Slaughter and May is advising AngloGold Ashanti on its corporate restructuring to change its corporate domicile to the UK, with a US primary listing on the New York Stock Exchange and secondary listings on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and A2X Markets in South Africa, and on the Ghana Stock Exchange in Ghana.

AngloGold Ashanti is an independent, global gold mining company currently headquartered in South Africa. AngloGold Ashanti believes the change in domicile and listing structure will help facilitate implementation of its strategy and greater recognition of its full value.
