Supporting homeless people into jobs and housing

Beam is a social enterprise and fundraising platform, which brings communities together online to help homeless people achieve their goals.

Through Beam, people experiencing homelessness can raise money for items that can be a financial barrier to starting work or moving into a new home, such as training or qualifications, childcare, a laptop, travel costs or a rental deposit. As well as providing funding support, Beam has caseworkers who provide one-to-one support with CV writing and home hunting.

We provide funding to the organisation to support their operational costs and to increase their reach in the borough of Islington, through their partnership with Islington Council.
