Statement on Ukraine

Slaughter and May Senior Partner, Steve Cooke said, "We are appalled by the attack on Ukraine by Russia and the human suffering that is occurring as a result. Like others in our community, we condemn the invasion and stand in support of the people of Ukraine.

"Our long-standing client acceptance procedures mean we have done very little work for Russian clients. We have no active Russian clients and will not be taking on any new Russian clients. We have no office in Russia.

"This is a distressing time for many and we are providing support and assistance to colleagues affected."
