Slaughter and May named European Law Firm of the Year for outsourcing
Slaughter and May was named European Law Firm of the Year for outsourcing at the Global Sourcing Association European Awards ceremony held in Sofia, Bulgaria on Thursday 6 October. As well as rewarding best practice, the awards were given to those who had demonstrated excellence in the outsourcing world in 2015-16. Rob Sumroy, Head of Slaughter and May’s Outsourcing practice, said:
“It’s a real honour to win this award from the Global Sourcing Association (GSA), in recognition of our pan-European practice. This is a true validation of our international approach, which enables us flexibly to provide the best advice available to clients on all aspects of their sourcings. We take pride that our clients ask us to support them on their strategic sourcing projects – helping to deliver what are often complex and challenging sourcings smoothly and efficiently, and aiming to achieve a “win/win” outcome for all parties”
The Global Sourcing Association is a professional body that shares best practice, trends and connections across the outsourcing industry in order to grow the size and positive reputation of the sector. The Awards ceremony brought together some of Europe’s leading outsourcing suppliers, support providers and buyers.
The winning of this Global Sourcing Association European Award follows Slaughter and May’s shortlisting in the Outsourcing Law Firm of the Year 2016 category at the GSA Awards, to be held in London in November confirming the strong track record of Slaughter and May’s outsourcing team.
Sumroy said: “We are the only advisory firm to have won the NOA Outsourcing Advisor of the Year accolade on more than one occasion (2014 and 2007). Now this pan-European award, and our shortlisting for the global GSA Awards, together reward our commitment to the development and implementation of best practice and excellence in outsourcing for the benefit of our clients.”
