Slaughter and May announces next Corporate and M&A practice heads

Slaughter and May, the leading international law firm, today announces the election of Simon Nicholls and Richard Smith as heads of its Corporate and M&A practice. Simon and Richard will take up their new roles on 1 May 2022.

Simon joined Slaughter and May in 1996 and became a partner in 2005. His clients include Diageo, GlaxoSmithKline, Whitbread, Babcock, Ultra Electronics, Wood and Morgan Advanced Materials.

Richard joined Slaughter and May in 2001 and became a Partner in 2010. His clients include Reckitt, Aviva, Landsec, United Utilities, Close Brothers, Equinix, The Walt Disney Company and Marsh McLennan.
