The firms were recognised for the impactful work of the Domestic Abuse Response Alliance (DARA), representing individuals suffering from domestic abuse.
The annual Lawyer Awards celebrate legal excellence presented by law firms, legal teams, and individuals in the UK.
DARA volunteers have acted for dozens of clients suffering from sexual abuse, physical violence, control, coercion, economic abuse, stalking and harassment, appearing as advocates to help them obtain protective orders. DARA is a collaborative project, working with LawWorks, the National Centre for Domestic Violence (NCDV) and Beck Fitzgerald, providing end-to-end representation and advocacy support for domestic abuse survivors seeking protective orders against their abusers.
