The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited recently released its long-awaited concept paper on a potential new board and its related consultation paper on its review of the Growth Enterprise Market and proposed changes to the GEM and Main Board Listing Rules. Together, the papers form a holistic review of the Hong Kong listing framework, including the introduction of a new board in Hong Kong targeted at “new economy” companies, as well as proposed changes with respect to the listing criteria for the Main and GEM Boards.
