In the area of IP, the UK Government has been proactive in setting out guidance should no deal be reached with the EU: IP owners should be largely reassured by the measures put in place. However, there are areas where IP owners may notice a loss of protection and there are others, principally involving the trading of IP protected goods across the EU, in which there is still uncertainty. These have the capacity to cause disruption for IP owners.
