CMA imposes penalty on Electro Rent for failure to comply with interim measures

The CMA has imposed a penalty of £100,000 on Electro Rent for failure to comply with interim measures in respect of its completed acquisition of Microlease. This is the first fine imposed by the CMA for a breach of the “standstill” order.
