UK government consults on its statutory review of the competition regime and its Strategic Steer to the CMA
The UK government has announced the launch of a consultation in relation to the five year statutory review of the competition regime and the CMA as required by the Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Act 2013 (‘ERRA’). The government also published a consultation on its Strategic Steer for the CMA. The announcements came with the publication of a Green Paper entitled Modernising Consumer Markets.
