Ngozie Azu is a qualified solicitor and Co-Head of Global Client Development at Slaughter and May. In her role she works closely with the partners to grow and develop the firm’s client and law firm relationships through focused client targeting, content creation, flagship events and initiatives, as well as developing a deep understanding of the leading law firms across the world.
Ngozie has been involved in the PLEASe conference from the start, working closely with the Africa Practice Group to run PLEASe since 2012.
Prior to joining the Global Client Development team, Ngozie was an associate in one of our financing groups where her practice areas included project and acquisition finance, general banking and refinancing and restructuring work. Whilst in practice she worked on a number of high profile transactions including advising Global Infrastructure Partners in relation to the £1.125 billion acquisition financing of Gatwick Airport Limited.
Ngozie supports the firm’s IBA activities and regularly attends the IBA Annual Meeting.
