Marketing and Communications
The marketing and communications seat will provide you with experience of content creation and production, as well as the creative process required to share our messages in a way that reflects our reputation for excellence, connects with our audiences effectively and drives tangible outcomes.
The teams you will work within include:
Shaping and enhancing the firm’s messaging and profile, internally and externally, while protecting its brand and reputation:
- Writing press announcements and distributing to the media
- Monitoring firm press coverage
- Writing award and submissions on key deals
- Writing content for The Weekly One, our internal newsletter
- Working behind the scenes to create The Weekly One
- Analysing data around Weekly One articles and press coverage
- Supporting content campaigns
Delivering the firm’s digital strategy and overseeing marketing technology stack:
- Continuous development and management of the firm’s website
- Managing intranet content and advising the publisher community
- Advising on strategy and coordinating content and posting on the firm’s social media channels
- Development and management of our Client Relationship Management system and integrated email marketing solution
- Oversight of the client facing videography, podcasts and photography produced by our in-house design team, the Audio Visual team and external agencies
- Creation of Native and Web based Apps
Delivering firm-wide and client events with the aim of maintaining and growing our relationships:
- Supporting the team across the full range of internal and external events from conception through to delivery, including: gala dinners, drinks receptions, retreats, conferences and half/full day content led programmes in a hybrid, in-person and virtual format
- Supporting the team in managing the firm’s corporate memberships/sponsorships, client hospitality packages and full circle campaigns
- Supporting the business with events data requests and analysis
- Updating Dynamics campaigns with event data such as; attendee registrations, logistical requirements and budgets
Producing high quality materials and outstanding design that reflect our reputation for excellence and engage our audiences while building longer-term recognition of our brand:
- Deliver visual design elements for print, digital and display formats that support and enhance the impact of our communications and marketing activities
- Lead the production of key digital assets, including animation and
- Support those across the firm who are creating their own materials for clients and other audiences by providing templates and visual assets in a user-friendly way
- Build a library of readily assessable, brand-compliant assets and materials that can be reused and repurposed in the future
- Act as ‘brand guardians’, ensuring that all our materials reflect our brand guidelines and tone of voice
Identifying key topics and themes that reflect client concerns and interests, and creating integrated marketing campaigns that effectively present these to our key audiences and delivering a return on investment:
- Liaise with the Business Development and legal teams to identify key themes and content
- Work across the marketing team to develop integrated marketing campaigns to reach key audiences
- Identify key metrics for campaigns and provide analysis of the return on investment achieved by our marketing programmes
- Lead in the development of the firm’s annual Horizon Scanning initiatives
