Knowledge and Learning
In this seat, you will discover how we identify and share best practices and legal knowledge, as well as how we provide the on-going training and support to both our legal teams and our business services colleagues that enable them to deliver world-class solutions to legal challenges.
The teams you will work with include:
Delivering the firm’s learning initiatives - from legal to skills training - and the development of our people:
- Coordinate legal training for our lawyers and skills-based training to the firm
- Liaise with internal and external speakers
- Schedule dates for speakers, and book rooms and facilities
- Prepare material for training
- Assist with the collation of L&D statistics and reports to be shared with key stakeholders
Overseeing the systems and approaches that enable the firm’s legal teams to share knowledge and identify best legal practice:
- Oversee knowledge maintenance projects
- Assist with Knowledge Management system updates as part of a joint project team
- Provide the management of KM reporting, such as the Know-How Capture report, Associate Appraisal reports, Know-How competition statistics
Supporting a broad range of research and knowledge management activity across the firm, in addition to providing current awareness services and supporting resource and library management related tasks:
- Provide support to the central Enquiries Desk, answering a broad range of research requests (full training will be provided)
- Support a broad range of ongoing and planned project work across the team
- Provide support for the digitisation of key resources in areas such as Tax and Pensions
- Carry out library audit and collection reviews
- Support data cleansing tasks
- Maintain library collections around the firm, including reorganising them as appropriate
- Responsible for a wide range of intranet pages, ensuring they are updated and have impactful design
