Slaughter and May advised Halfords, the UK’s leading provider of motoring and cycling services and products, on the sale of a five per cent. stake in its automotive software as a service (SaaS) business, Avayler, to Bridgestone. In addition, Avayler and Bridgestone have entered into a commercial agreement which establishes Bridgestone as a customer of Avayler and provides for the roll out of Avayler’s software across Bridgestone’s retail and van operations in the USA.

Slaughter and May worked closely with Halfords’ General Counsel, Tim O’Gorman, and Avayler’s CEO, Chris McShane.
